Vacation Area- Scenic Acapulco Mexico

Acapulco is a city and main sea port which is situated on a dramatic deep semi-circular bay on the Pacific coast of Mexico. The biggest city in the state of Guerrero, Acapulco is home to some of the biggest beaches in Mexico. The city's main square, Zocalo, is packed full of restaurants, cafes and shops where vacationers can buy unique souvenirs of their vacations. The bay area of Acapulco fronts the main boulevard La Costera and is home to the vacation area’s most popular beaches. The well-known beaches in Acapulco Bay include Caleta, Caletilla and Dominguillo. Just east of the city is the open water beach Playa Revolcadero. The waves here are great for surfing. If you are searching for quieter beaches then you will need to take a short drive to the seaside towns of Pie de la Cuesta and Barra Vieja. The natural bay area offers a huge range of water sports and water activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, water-skiing, parasailing, sail boarding, sailing, glass bottom boats, banana boat rides, pedalos, fishing and sport fishing.

Acapulco is also well-known for its beaches. You could visit Playa Puerto Marques, an admired beach that's equally well-known for its tin roofed restaurants that serve new sea food together with cold beer as it is for the perfect waters. You could also visit Playa Icacos, which has a number of water sports lined up for the more exploratory. Though these beaches are very popular and fascinate tourists throughout the year, there are lots of other beaches like Pie de la Cuseta that are secluded and have not lost their immaculate beauty. The stunning beach at Isla de la Roqueta is perfect for families as it has low areas where kids can play safely. The island also has some excellent places to snorkel, plenty of hiking trails and a lighthouse to visit. You can reach the island by water taxi or by a glass-bottom boat tour from Caleta Beach. The tour will include the cliff-divers show at La Quebrada and the submerged bronze statue of the Virgen of Guadalupe. As the glass-bottom boat sails divers swim underneath with food to draw the fish. Acapulco is also a refuge for honeymooners. A view of the Acapulco bay with the millions of light reflecting in the water is totally wonderful and one of the most romantic scenarios in the world. You could also take a walk across the main street, Avenida Costera Miguel Aleman, identified locally as just The Costera. There are many accommodation options, right from the low-cost Posadas to the luxury hotels. The Las Brisas is considered the most romantic resort with a number of private and semi private swimming pools with a view of the Acapulco Bay or the Pacific Ocean. You could also decide to live in style in one of the many villas that are designed in the modern Mexican-Mediterranean styles.

Summary:
Whether you're searching for romantic vacations areas, a getaway with associates or a family friendly trip away, lots of people are flight to Acapulco. Travel to this destination is an easy choice since there are so many different things to do. Regardless of what type of vacations you're interested in, chances are good that you'll find exactly what you're looking for in Acapulco.
